2-Way 12" Full Range Loudspeaker for KTV Applications
KT12-HP
The 2-way 12” full range KT12-HP is a 2,000-Watt peak loudspeaker system designed specifically for KTV applications. Multiple M10 rigging points and a 35 mm pole mount provide versatility for installation.
Precision and Detailed Clarity
The KT12-HP loudspeaker features a 12" low frequency driver with a low mass voice coil for improved transient response, demodulation rings for maximum clarity at high spl, and a polyimide 1.5” diaphragm 1" exit ferrite motor compression driver mounted on a 80° horizontal by 60° vertical low distortion waveguide. All drivers are matched with a precision engineered passive crossover network that provides maximum performance in the midrange vocal region and high gain before feedback.
Construction and Connectivity
Finished in a highly durable semi matt black paint, the cabinet is constructed from 12mm (½") & 15 mm (⅝") plywood – and includes an architecturally styled powder coated perforated steel mesh grille backed with reticulated foam. Rotatable badge for vertical or horizontal deployment. Multiple internal M10 rigging points are provided for suspension in any orientation or mounting with an additional 35mm pole mount for stand mount options. The rear panel connector plate carries industry-standard twist-locking speaker input and link quick and convenient wiring.
Custom-Engineered Drivers
Turbosound is recognised the world over for designing and building some of the most iconic loudspeakers and subwoofers. We take meticulous care and pride in maintaining that reputation by utilising only drivers designed by ourselves or to our exacting standards. Our KT series transducers have been carefully designed and tested for the exacting requirements of the KTV market.
Enclosure Design
The KT series employees a low distortion rear ported design favoured for KTV applications for maximum bass impact, taking advantage of low frequency boundary effect loading.
