The TBV123 is the main element of Turbosound's Berlin Series flown line array, a three-way active enclosure delivering high output and even pattern control for medium- to large-format performances in arenas, theatres and outdoor festivals. The cabinet houses two 12-inch front-loaded low-frequency drivers in a symmetrical isobaric arrangement to minimise diffraction artefacts, four 6.5-inch midrange cones in a vertical column producing a coherent line source above 200 Hz, and a single 1.4-inch exit compression driver loaded onto a precision-engineered Polyhorn constant-directivity waveguide that produces a nominal 110-degree horizontal pattern and a tightly-controlled 10-degree vertical pattern per element. Onboard Class-D amplification provides 2,500 W LF, 800 W MF and 400 W HF from a high-efficiency switch-mode supply with active power-factor correction, while internal DSP manages the active three-way crossover, FIR phase pre-correction, multi-band peak-and-RMS limiting and pattern-coherence corrections derived from the rigging-pin-encoded array geometry. Inter-cabinet splay is set by captive aluminium pins at 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7.5 and 10 degrees, and the integrated three-point steel rigging frame is certified to a 10:1 ultimate-strength safety factor. Frequency response is 50 Hz to 18 kHz and maximum SPL exceeds 144 dB peak per element at 1 m. Power-input is via Powercon TRUE1 with link-through, and audio-and-control are transported between cabinets over a single Cat5e cable from the array head-amplifier rack. The integrated digital link also supports per-cabinet remote monitoring of input level, amplifier temperature, fan status and current draw via the Turbosound control software. Construction is 15 mm Baltic birch with a textured polyurethane finish and a perforated steel grille backed by acoustic foam.
